I’ve been in Ho Chi Minh City (Sài Gòn), for about a year and a half now. And I have to say, I love it here. It’s a blessing to be able to experience this far off and exotic culture. Before I came, I had often dreamed of moving to Southeast Asia. And following through on that ambition is something I consider a personal goal knocked out.

It’s refreshing to be someplace where everything isn’t done for you. You have to use your imagination, your wit, to accomplish what people in other parts of the world might consider the simplest of tasks; like ordering a meal for instance. How do you do that when you don’t speak the native language?!
