Whatup, Everybody. This is a song called “Lightspeed“. I did it in 2003. It’s from a VERY underground LP I dropped that year called “Omega 710”. It was right around the time I was transitioning from Bosco Money to the name, Ken Omega. I had been running a recording studio at my apartment in Brooklyn. And one day I did this track. I chopped up the mixdown, and moved a few things around – drops and stuff like that, so that they would work with these verses. Then I just cut the vocals, and mixed it. I believe I used a Shure SM57 microphone. And I didn’t even have a vocal booth, nor a mic stand at the time. So I just sat next to the MPC 2000XL that I used to make the track, and held the mic in my hand while I kicked the rhymes. Here is the result. Check flows! And please don’t forget to like and subscribe to my YouTube Channel. Thanks. Enjoy! Ken
